We Own This Town is a documentary about two guys who drive cross-country to try to sell a screenplay.
Well, not completely. Yes, Shawn and Steve would love to sell their erectile-dysfunction comedy, Limp, in the five days they're in L.A. But that's not all they want to do. They want to meet agents, producers, screenwriters, actors and other Hollywood types and learn what it takes to succeed in the movie business. They want to make some shit happen in a town that didn't invite them. And they'd like to not die.
It's a story with truth, heart and laughs, and it's relevant to anyone who's ever considered writing a screenplay -- in other words, anybody breathing.
The movie was created through the combined efforts of Shawn Donnelly, Steve Mazzucchi and Angus Spottiswoode.
